NEW EEA AND NORWAY GRANTS FUND FOR YOUTH EMPLOYMENT CREATED

The EEA and Norway Grants launched a call seeking proposals for transnational projects under the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The deadlne for the submission of the concept note is 01.08.2017.


What is the focus of the call?
The newly established Fund specifically aims to support transnational project initiatives that promote sustainable and quality youth employment. Projects addressing youth unemployment has three principal support areas:

• innovation and exploration;
• transfer of know-how and good practice;
• analysis and research.


Who can apply?

The beneficiary countries of this call for proposals will be Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. In addition, entities from Ireland, Italy and Spain are eligible. Projects shall involve entities from at least two countries, of which the beneficiary country must be the lead partner.


What is the grant amount?

The total funding is €60.6 million, and the amount of grant assistance within a project shall not be less than €1 million. There is no maximum grant amount per project.


How to apply?

The project selection will follow a two-step procedure:

1. A call for proposals where only concept notes on transnational projects shall be submitted
2. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal before the final deadline

Proposals shall be submitted electronically via the fund operator’s system.
